The OTT rights of this movie have been acquired by popular streaming service Amazon Prime Video. However, an official announcement is yet to come from the makers in this regard. Although this movie was supposed to be released sometime, it got postponed due to the VFX works. Now that everything has been finalized, it will be released on February 17. While director Gunasekhar has already successfully directed a historical movie like ‘Rudramadevi’, the audience has high expectations for this movie.
Meanwhile, Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Aditi Balan, Gauthami, Ananya Nagalla and Kabir Duhan Singh played key roles in Shakunthalam. Produced by Neelima Guna under the Guna Team Works banner, the film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada languages in 2D and 3D formats.
