Shabab Al-Ahly broke up its partnership with Sharjah at the top of the ADNOC Professional Football League, after defeating it 2-1 in the match that took place between them this Sunday evening, at Rashid Stadium in Dubai, at the end of the sixth stage of the competition.
After a negative first half, Sardar Azmoun was able to put Shabab Al-Ahly in the lead by scoring the first goal (56), and Cartabia followed up by scoring the second goal from a penalty kick (87), while Guilherme Pirro scored Sharjah’s only goal (90 + 7).
Shabab Al-Ahly took the lead in the league and raised its score to 18 points with a full score, while Sharjah’s score stopped at 15 points and fell to second place.
