The Ukrainian football club Shakhtar Donetsk announced yesterday that it had agreed to reduce the prices of Champions League tickets for fans of the German club Bayern Munich.
Shakhtar, which is playing its Champions League matches at the Veltins Arena of the German club Schalke in the city of Gelsenkirchen due to the Russian-Ukrainian war, will meet its guest Bayern Munich on December 10.
The Ukrainian club adjusted ticket prices for the match, reducing the cost of parking spaces to 26 euros ($27.47) instead of 52 euros previously, while the cost of seats reached 45 euros after it was 105 euros previously.
Bayern witnessed a wave of cancellation of ticket requests due to high prices, and last week the number of requests decreased from 55,000 requests to only 19,000 requests.
Bayern announced that with the price adjustment, all fans who canceled their orders will be able to place new orders.
