Shakira (46) is STILL facing a case of suspected tax evasion in Spain. On Tuesday, the public prosecutor filed a criminal complaint with the investigative court in Esplugues de Llobregat!
The reproach? Tax debts of almost 6.7 million euros from 2018. An investigative court must now decide whether the singer will be charged.
Prosecutors are demanding eight years in prison for Shakira
The 46-year-old already has to answer in court in Barcelona in another case: it involves tax evasion amounting to around 14.5 million euros (2012 to 2014).
Shakira denies any guilt. According to her own statement, she lived mainly in the Bahamas during the specified period. Where the pop star actually lives, which is of course crucial for tax purposes, needs to be clarified in court, among other things.

In the worst case scenario, she could even end up in prison for this. The Spanish public prosecutor’s office is demanding an eight-year prison sentence Gerard Piqué’s ex (36)who lives in Barcelona.
It is still unclear when a possible criminal trial will begin.
