Sharjah defeated Al-Bataeh with a penalty shootout 3-1 after the end of the original and extra time with a 2-2 draw in the first final match of the Futsal League that was held in the sports hall of Ittihad Kalba Club, to achieve the “King” the first victory in the final round.
The two teams will meet in the second final match next Monday in the sports hall of Al-Bataeh Club.
Wael Al Dhanhani scored for Sharjah in the 11th minute and Brazilian Vitor Silva scored in the 16th minute, while Sharjah player Rashid Al Hinai scored in his own net in the 30th minute and Abdullah Al Falasi 38.
In the penalty shootout, Sharjah goalkeeper Jaber Al Ali shone and blocked a ball, while Al-Qaim saved two kicks, while Sharjah players scored all the kicks.
The tournament regulations stipulate that the championship shield will be awarded to the team that achieves victory in two out of three final matches.
