Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club won the Sharjah Jiu-Jitsu Cup “Without Suit”, which was organized by Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club over two days and concluded the day before yesterday, under the patronage of the Sharjah Sports Council and the supervision of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation in the sports hall of Al Hamriyah Cultural Sports Club, with the participation of 500 players from 52 countries.
Sharjah Self-Defense Club came in first place with 44 medals, including (21 gold, 14 silver and 9 bronze), while Fujairah Martial Arts Club came in second place with 32 medals, including (6 gold, 13 silver and 13 bronze), and Shabab Al Ahli Club came in third place with 20 medals, including (5 gold, 7 silver and 8 bronze). The winners were honored in the presence of Ahmed Al Owais, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club, Humaid Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Hamriya Club, and Dr. Yasser Al Doukhi, Director of the Sports and Community Events Department at Sharjah Sports Council.
