Yesterday, the Sharjah Women’s Sports Team was crowned the General Women’s Basketball League title, after beating its counterpart Sharjah Women’s Sports Club Al Wusta Branch (71-35). The achievement comes a few days after the Sharjah Women’s Sports Club won the women’s kumite general league championship, third place and a bronze medal for the women’s category.
The Sharjah Women’s Sports Club was represented in the match: Al Yazia Sultan, Suhaila Abbas, Maryam Adel, Rawda Muhammad, Nina Ninkovic, Yasmine Yazid, Maitha Mubarak, Amal bin Haider, Shalin Shalika, and Alia Al Naqbi.
