The Sharjah Sports Council team was crowned the title of the twenty-fifth edition of the football championship for government agencies, institutions and departments in Sharjah, after winning the final match against the Sharjah Police General Command team, with five goals to four.
The match and the coronation ceremony of the winners were witnessed by Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadim, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Sharjah Government Employees Club, in the presence of Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, Sheikh Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Mualla, Chairman of the Sharjah Cultural Chess Club and a number of officials.
Sharjah Airport Authority won the third place after winning the Municipality of Al Hamriya City. The Organizing Committee selected Nawfal Al-Taei from the Sharjah Police General Command to win the best player award, Anderson Gustavo from Sharjah International Airport Authority won the title of top scorer in the championship, and Maid Al-Muaini won the best goalkeeper award from the Sharjah Sports Council, and Khalifa Al-Mulla from the Sharjah International Airport Authority won the award for best administrator. And he won the award for best coach, Abdullah Abdul Basit, from the Sharjah Sports Council. The committee also chose the Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services team to win the ideal team title.
