Sharjah Team boat wins Formula 4 world championship for the first time in its history

Sharjah International Marine Sports Club announced that its speedboat team won the Formula 4 World Championship title for the first time in its history, through the boat “Sharjah 69”, after topping the final round of the championship, which was held in Italy recently, and reaching “point 96” at the top of the overall championship standings, after six rounds.

Khalid Jassim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, praised the team’s performance, stressing that the Sharjah Powerboat Team’s cadres, and the outstanding results and excellence they provide on the global level, are a source of pride for Emirati sports, and distinguished achievements at the level of marine sports, and the result of planning, diligent work and great effort that culminated in the Sharjah boat’s ascent to the podium, raising the name of Sharjah and the flag of the UAE high.
