Sharp increase in honour-related violence, almost 700 cases last year

Honor violence is on the rise in the Netherlands. Last year alone, the police had to deal with nearly 700 complex honor cases. This concerns, for example, threats of violence, stalking, assault, forced marriage, kidnapping, up to murder or manslaughter.
