The Organizing Committee of the Sheikha Hind Women’s Sports Tournament has approved the schedule and competitions for the 12th edition of the major tournament of its kind, which is organized by the Dubai Sports Council under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him. The tournament aims to attract female sports talents and spread awareness of the importance of women practicing sports.
The 12th edition will kick off on October 16 and run until October 30, 2024, and will feature eight sports: bowling, running, padel, badminton, cycling, shooting, and steeplechase, in addition to 3×3 basketball, which was added to the tournament this year.
The organising committee announced in a press release the date for opening registration for teams and players wishing to participate, starting from September 3rd until October 4th. Registration is done through the tournament’s website https://shwt.dubaisc.ae/, where each institution creates its own account on the website to upload all documents and papers related to registering the players and choosing the games in which each player will participate.
The organising committee has provided the players with the opportunity to train in shooting, padel and obstacle courses in preparation for the competitions. Players can train in shooting at the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Centre, and they can also train in padel at the Just Padel Club in Port Rashid, and train in obstacle courses at the BIA Warrior Club in Al Quoz.

The organizing committee has set the schedule and competition schedule, with the bowling championship launching the tournament on October 16 and taking place at the Dubai International Bowling Center, followed by the running races taking place at Expo City Dubai on October 17. The padel championship will be held at Just Padel Club from October 18 to 20, while the badminton championship will be held at Al Nasr Sports Club from October 21 to 24.
