Former Moroccan international Youssef Shibou expressed his pride after the Kingdom won the honor of hosting the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Shibo said in television statements that the Moroccan version will be the best ever, after an integrated and strong file was presented at all levels.
The former Moroccan international confirmed that CAF granted this honor to the Kingdom, due to the development of infrastructure, whether in terms of stadiums, roads, hotels or means of transportation.
The same spokesman added that Morocco has stadiums of the highest level and an audience that loves round football.
Morocco had the honor of organizing the finals of the 2025 African Cup of Nations, for the second time in its history after the 1988 edition.
The Kingdom received 22 unanimous votes during the meeting of the Executive Office of the African Union.
