Siaka and Saleh’s duet guides the “runner-up” to Al Wasl

Al-Wasl overcame the victory hurdle with two goals without a response, today, in the 17th round of the ADNOC Professional League at Al-Wasl Stadium in Zabeel, to raise its score to 35 points, and advance to the runner-up, while the “Al-Ameed” balance stopped at 14 points in the 12th place, to repeat Al-Wasl. His superiority over Al-Nasr, after he had defeated him in the first leg, with two goals to one.

Al Wasl dominated the midfield, and Ali Saleh and Fabio Lima were the most prominent in the first 15 minutes, as Saleh led more than one dangerous attack from the right, while Lima threatened the goalkeeper Ahmed Shambeh with two chances, the first from a ball with his head that passed next to the post (5). And the second from a powerful shot over the crossbar (13).

Al-Wasl continued its control in the second half, and put pressure on the Al-Nasr defense to score the first goal, and it had what it wanted, when Al-Mali Siaka scored the first goal after receiving a beautiful pass from Lima, and met it with a wonderful shot in the goal (59).

The “Brigadier”‘s performance improved in the last 20 minutes, and Hamdan Al-Kamali hit a powerful ball from a direct free kick that Khaled Al-Sanani blocked (70), before Ali Saleh decided the result by adding the second goal from a counter-attack that reached Lima, who passed the ball to Saleh, and the latter fired. The ball into the goal (85), and the match ended with Al Wasl winning.
