Singing Ramya Haridas: E Ahmed received Excellence Award

Muscat: Alathur MP Ramya Haridas has received the E Ahmed Excellence Award 2023 given by Muscat KMCC based on the best activities in the Indian Parliament in the name of Muslim League leader E Ahmed Sahib, who was a former Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and a prominent parliamentarian. Indian Union Muslim League National President Prof. Khader Mohidin handed over the award to Ramya Haridas at the E Ahmed memorial function held at Hormuz Grant Hotel near the airport at 7:30 pm on Friday.

Ramya Haridas MP said that she is receiving this award with great joy and pride. Receiving an award named after a parliamentarian like E Ahmed is a big responsibility.

Ramya Haridas appreciated CH Center and KMCC for serving beyond caste, religion and political thinking. KMCC is an organization that supports the society irrespective of any government. The services rendered by Muscat KMCC during covid are great. A lot of people were displaced including in Tende constituency by KMCC’s chartered flight. Ramya Haridas said that the workers of KMCC came forward even to provide posthumous kriya of the deceased regardless of their religion or religion, and it is a good deed recorded in Patachavan’s book. Ramya Haridas said that E Ahmed’s interventions in the church are a useful reference for the new generation of members including herself, considering the demand of the audience and took them in hand.

President of Muscat KMCC Central Committee Raees Ahmed presided over the program which was inaugurated by the National President of Indian Union Muslim League Professor Khader Mohideen. Central Committee General Secretary Rahim Vatallur welcomed. Gulfar Engineering Managing Director Dr. P. Muhammadali, Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry member Abdul Latif Uppala and others gave their greetings. Kozhikode District Muslim League Secretary NP Abdu Samad Pookad E Ahmed delivered a memorial lecture. Muscat KMCC Central Committee Treasurer Shameer PTK expressed thanks.
