Sahara International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem) announced the safe completion of scheduled periodic maintenance work for the International Methanol Company (a subsidiary of Sipchem) and the start of operating the plant on Saturday morning, June 3, 2023.
The company stated in a statement published on the Saudi Tadawul Group website that it was able, during this scheduled stoppage of the International Methanol Company plant, to complete the periodic maintenance work according to the scheduled plan, which will have a positive impact on the plant’s efficiency, raise the level of reliability and reduce costs in line with the company’s future operational plans. .
The Sahara International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem) had announced on April 16th that it would carry out scheduled periodic maintenance work for the Global Methanol Company plant.
Sipchem stated that the financial impact of this scheduled stop will be reflected in the results of the second quarter of 2023. Noting that the company has announced that it has taken all necessary precautions to avoid any impact from this suspension on the company’s obligations towards customers.
