The Investigative Committee of Russia (IC RF) opened a criminal case on the fact of the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements after a teenager was injured while completing a quest in the north-east of Moscow. “According to the investigation, on the evening of January 29, 2023, during a game quest in the basement located on Akademika Komarov Street in Moscow, as a result of interaction with the hosts, a 16-year-old teenager received bodily injuries,” the capital’s Investigative Committee said in a statement. in the Telegram channel.
Later, the minor was taken to the hospital, where he was examined by doctors and provided with all the necessary medical assistance. After that, the teenager was released home.
It is noted that after a pre-investigation check, the Ostankino Interdistrict Investigation Department opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (provision of services that do not meet security requirements).
At the moment, investigators are studying the institution’s official documentation, and are also interrogating the organizers and participants of the quest.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that a 16-year-old had been hospitalized with various injuries after participating in a quest with his friends in Moscow.
According to the father of the victim, the boy returned home and complained that during the event, the presenters pushed and beat the participants. The minor also showed the parent hematomas and abrasions on the body.
At the hospital, doctors diagnosed the teenager with a bruised chest and other injuries.
