The diagnosis of a brain hematoma was confirmed by the victim’s girlfriend, a curler, Anna Sidorova.
According to her, she found out about Solovyov’s condition through the hotline. The curler shared that doctors conducted additional research and found that he had a severe head injury.
“Moreover, this is not just a concussion: there is a brain hematoma, and while doctors say that it is necessary to closely monitor it, it is not known how this hematoma will behave further,” Sidorova is quoted by the Telegram channel of the Russian Olympic Committee.
The girl also said that the victim was scheduled for another CT scan of the brain, doctors put the skater on droppers, give injections. According to preliminary forecasts, he will have to spend at least ten days in the hospital.
The athlete also revealed the details of the incident.
“We didn’t touch anyone, we didn’t do anything. I am simply amazed how Dima continued to remain calm even at the moment when he was repeatedly bullied, beaten, he understood that this is not how issues are resolved in the civilized world, ”Sidorova shared.

The athlete stood up for his girlfriend, the curler, Anna Sidorova, after which a verbal skirmish arose between him and the unknown, which later turned into a fight. According to the girl, she asked the strangers for a lighter, in response they began to insult her.
A criminal case has been opened against two suspects in beating the figure skater Dmitry Solovyov. As it became known to Izvestia, two suspects were detained for 48 hours. On Wednesday they will choose a preventive measure.
According to the 112 service, Vladislav Smirnov and Vladislav Yakovtsev, both born in 2003, are involved in the case.
