Skoda Auto India has announced to increase the prices of its products by approximately 2% from January 1, 2024.
The increase will be applicable across the entire range of Skoda Auto India vehicles, such as the Kushaq SUV, Slavia sedan and Kodiaq Luxury 4×4. This increase in prices has been done due to continuously increasing expenses of supplies, inputs and operations.
Skoda Auto India introduced the new Kushaq in July 2021 based on the new platform MQB-A0-IN developed specifically for India. And in April 2022, the Slavia sedan based on the same platform was introduced. Both cars are now exported to the GCC and other right hand drive countries. The company is going to enter Vietnam in 2024.
Both the Kushaq and Slavia have received a full 5-star rating for adults and children under Global NCAP’s new and more stringent crash test protocols. With Kodiaq achieving 5-star rating for adults and children under Euro NCAP, Skoda Auto India now has a 100% fleet of 5-star rated, crash-tested cars.
The company has also expanded its network from 120 touchpoints in 2021 to more than 250 touchpoints by the end of 2023. In line with its customer-centric philosophy, Skoda will continue to reach closer to customers and offer its class-leading product range.
