Southpaw has announced a new sales milestone for Skul: The Hero Slayer.
The roguelike that marked the debut of this Korean studio has accumulated 2 million copies sold since its launch in January 2021.
In its first year it managed to sell one million copies, becoming the first South Korean indie to reach this figure in twelve months.
Skul: The Hero Slayer is a 2D action and platform game in which we control the lone survivor of a human assault on his demonic castle. He will use his ability to expand his abilities by changing skulls to try to rescue the Demon King.
To celebrate the milestone, Skul will be on sale at 50% off on Steam until January 18, just before its third birthday.
Last November Skul received its first paid DLC called ‘Mythology Pack’ along with the free Demon King Castle Defense update; The studio ensures that it is committed to continuing to offer new experiences within the game in the future.
Skul: The Hero Slayer is available on PC, PS4, Switch and Xbox One.
