New Delhi: The Amarnath Pilgrimage is an annual pilgrimage to the Amarnath Temple in Jammu and Kashmir. However, the pilgrimage has not taken place for the last 2 years due to corona infection. This year’s Amarnath Yatra starts on June 30 and ends on August 11.
In this case, the booking for the pilgrimage has begun. It has been announced that only those above 13 years of age and those below 75 years of age can participate in the pilgrimage. Currently, 1.5 lakh people have booked after 26 days of booking. It is noteworthy that the number of registrants in the first 26 days is 246 per cent higher than last year 2019.
A senior Jammu and Kashmir government official said, “After the last two years, more and more devotees have registered their names for the Amarnath Panilinga Darshan. We expect 6 lakh devotees to come here this year. ”
