New Delhi: At the beginning of last year 2020, the Chinese soldiers violated the Ladakh border and tried to penetrate into the Indian territory. The Indian soldiers overcame this.
After that there was war tension there. Subsequently, both sides amassed armies and military equipment. After that the forces on both sides were reduced due to negotiations between the two sides.
However, additional modern weapons have been kept ready in the eastern Ladakh border area to deal with any emergency in the near future. The number of soldiers involved in surveillance in the area has also been significantly increased.
In this case, some more army tanks and armored vehicles including T-90, T-72 tanks and BMP have been accumulated in Ladakh region. The soldiers underwent special training with these. This exercise was specifically designed to attack the enemy across the Indus River in the area.
Army officials said that the exercise was to prepare to stop the enemy (Chinese Army) if they try to encroach and invade Indian territory.
An Indian-made Dhanush howitzer, 114 guns, an Indian-made M4 Quick Reaction Force vehicle and the Tata Rajak system for surveillance are on standby in Ladakh.
