New Delhi: Union Law Minister Kiran Rijiju has criticized some people for thinking that the BBC is higher than the Supreme Court.
Britain’s BBC has released two documentaries against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Union Ministry of External Affairs criticized these documentaries as not dignified. Some have posted comments on social media in support of the documentaries. Union Law Minister Kiran Rijiju has commented on this issue on his Twitter page and said, “All communities including the minority community in India are moving forward with a positive mindset. The reputation of the country will not be tarnished by smear campaigns from within or outside the country. Narendra Modi’s voice is the single voice of 140 crore people in the country.
Some people in India still have a pro-shoe dominance attitude. They consider the BBC superior to the Supreme Court. By this, they are trying to make India’s reputation to please the foreign powers. Their only aim is to weaken India.
A BBC documentary linked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the 2002 Gujarat riots. The Supreme Court has already ruled that Narendra Modi, who was then the Chief Minister of the state, had nothing to do with the Gujarat riots. It is noteworthy that Kiran Rijiju has commented on this. It is also worth noting that Sanjeev Tirupati, the former head of India’s spy agency RAW, had strongly condemned the BBC documentary.
