Telangana CS: Telangana CS Somesh Kumar’s Telangana cadre canceled by High Court. It ruled that he should go to the AP cadre as allotted at the time of partition. Meanwhile, Somesh Kumar is continuing as Telangana CS from December 2019.

In 2017, the Center approached the Telangana High Court to strike down the CAT order. Recently, when this case came to trial, the court heard the arguments of both sides and gave a verdict that Somesh Kumar should go to AP canceling the Telangana cadre. On the request of Somesh Kumar’s counsel, the execution of the judgment was stayed for 3 weeks. Meanwhile, Somesh Kumar is continuing as Telangana CS from December 2019.
