Sonia was alone in Parliament as Congress leaders could not come

New Delhi: Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Unity Pilgrimage ended yesterday in Kashmir. Several Congress MPs have camped in Kashmir for his pilgrimage. They are yet to return to Delhi as flight services are affected due to bad weather.

In this context, the parliamentary budget session started yesterday. At that time President Drabupati Murmu addressed the joint meeting of the Parliament. BJP MPs, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, clapped on the table while mentioning the important issues. In the absence of most of the Congress MPs, the party’s former president Sonia Gandhi sat alone in the front row of the House.
