Sports Desk.The South Africa team will play a Tri Series (Tri Series) before the Champions Trophy 2025 (Champions Trophy 2025). Apart from South Africa, New Zealand and Pakistan (Pakistan) team will also be included in this series. The series will be played in Pakistan itself. The South Africa Cricket Board announced its 12 -member team on Wednesday for 1 match of this series. The team’s command has been handed over to Temba Bavuma.
The board gave this information on social media. Rob Walter, head coach of South Africa Mains White-Ball, updated the team for the upcoming ODI Series (TRI Series) against Pakistan and New Zealand from 08 to 14 February. Walter has announced the initial 12-players team for the first match of South Africa series only against New Zealand at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on 10 February.
The ODI team consists of six unkapped players. These include Daffabet Warriors batsman Matthew Breetzke, North West University Dragon batsman Micah-IL Prince and his home team teammate fast bowler Gideon Peters. Along with this, Hollywoodbets Dolphin fast bowler Ethan Bosch and Warriors spinner Senuran Muthusamy have also got a place in the team.
All -rounder Mipongwana has also been included in the South Africa team. The 24 -year -old player has got the second place in ODIs after becoming a part of the ODI team against India in 2023. Fast bowler Garald Koetzi has also returned. He is coming over the stretch in the left hamstring.
