The South Korean national football team defeated its guest Egypt 4-1 during a friendly match that brought them together on Tuesday as part of their preparations for the upcoming international competitions.
The goals of the Korean team were scored by Ui Joo Hwang, Kim Young Joon, Cho Kyu Seung and Chang Hoon Kwon in the 16th, 23rd, 84th minutes and the first overtime of the match, while the Egyptian team’s goal was scored by Mostafa Mohamed in the 38th minute.
The South Korean team is preparing to participate in the World Cup that will be held in Qatar next November, where it will play in Group D with Uruguay, Ghana and Portugal.
Meanwhile, the Egyptian national team is preparing to continue its campaign in the qualifiers for the African Nations Cup, which will be held next year, after failing to qualify for the World Cup.
