A diplomatic war has now begun between North Korea’s capital Pyongyang and South Korea’s capital Seoul. North Korea, which calls South Korea its main enemy, says it does not recognize the border line between the two countries. Between the two countries, diplomatic talks are not going on as before, even if the situation deteriorates a little, the atmosphere of war will be created.
North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un has said he has no intention of war. However, he said that there are no situations to avoid war. Kim Jong Un, who has said that he does not accept the border that was fixed when the ceasefire was established between the two countries, has instructed his army to conduct continuous military exercises in this area. For the past several days, military exercises have been going on between North and South Korea.
Amidst all these developments, the North Korean government has strengthened its bilateral alliance with Russia. North Korea, which has aided Russia in its war against Ukraine, has provided Russia with several types of missiles. Along with this, South Korea and the United States are of the opinion that North Korea is gaining superiority in defense technology by being a participant in many Russian satellite projects.
Defense analysts believe that both North and South Korea are on the brink of war. After 2010, there was no major conflict between the two countries. However, North Korea has successfully conducted its missile and nuclear tests in recent years. North Korea says it has nuclear weapons, but the international community is not sure about this. Calculations are being heard that if a conflict occurs in the future, if both countries use their air forces, the death toll will be excessive.
