Today, the UAE Special Olympics delegation opens its participation in the Malta 2024 Special Olympics Games, which will continue until the 15th of this month.
The UAE delegation arrived in Malta yesterday, with a delegation of 20 male and female players competing in five sports: swimming, table tennis, athletics, football, and bocce.
The Special Olympics players will participate in the opening ceremony that begins today, and immediately after that the players will be divided to determine the competitions in which they will participate during the first day.
Talal Al Hashemi, National Director of the Special Olympics UAE, confirmed that all players are ready to participate in the event, after a period of distinguished preparation in the Al Ain camp.
