The Ministry of Transport has decided to provide seven plots for the implementation of the new project. The aim is to eliminate the hassles caused by truck parking in residential areas. Land has been allocated for construction of yards in Muladha in Musanna Wilayat, Khamaila in Bahla Wilayat, Haima in Ibra Wilayat, Mawela in Seeb Wilayat, Misfa in Bowshar Wilayat, Al Nawa in Mahda Wilayat and Al Qashda in Saham Wilayat.
Ajitra, who dropped out of school to look after his sick mother, gets his certificates back; Assurance of Education Minister
Cherunniyur native Ajitra B.S had to drop out of her studies midway to protect her ailing mother. Ajitra joined Ayyappa Institute of Management Studies, Peerumedu, Idukki for the first year BCA course in October 2022. But he had to drop out without completing even one semester. Ajitra reached the taluk adalat held at Varkala when the college authorities took a stand that they would return the SSLC, plus two certificates and TC only if a fee of Rs 62523 was paid.
The complainant is a member of a poor family. Sister-in-law’s education and mother’s medical expenses are furthered depending on father’s income. In this case the family cannot afford to spend a lot of money to recover the certificates.
Minister of Education V. After Sivankutty was made aware of the matter, the minister contacted the college authorities on phone and asked them to take necessary steps to return the student’s certificates. Ajitra is currently studying computer in an institute in Varkala. Ajitra returned from the Adalat platform happy to get the certificates back.
