Chitrakoot.Ayodhya Naresh Chakravarti Maharaj Dasharatha gave 14 years of exile to Lord Rama (Shri Ram) at the behest of his wife Kaikeyi and the rule of Ayodhya (Ayodhya) to Bharata. On the orders of the father, God also came to the forest of Chitrakoot via Shringverpur. Here, his younger brother Bharat came back from Nanihal and when he came to know the whole story, he came to Chitrakoot to convince God. The story of this Shri Ram-India Milap tells the melted stones here.
Bharat Milap Temple is located on Lord Kamatanath Parikrama Marg in Chitrakoot, Madhya Pradesh. The people of Ayodhya could not stop themselves from crying here after seeing his love for Lord Rama and renunciation towards the rule of Ayodhya. Goswami Tulsidas ji, Shri Ram Charit Manas even says that the creatures and trees also started crying. Even in the love of Rama and Bharata, the stones and mountains started melting there.

These melted stones are still safe in Chitrakoot and come from far and wide to see them. Even today, Ram ji and Bharat ji’s footprints can be seen on a rock in this temple. Along with Ram-Bihar Milap Temple, Kaushalya-Sita Milan and Lakshman-Shatrughan Milan Temple are also established. In the end, when Bharata failed to convince Ram ji to go back to Ayodhya, he took his Charan Paduka with him and seated the same Paduka on the throne and ruled the rule of Ayodhya.

In Chitrakoot, he still exists melted stones and is testifying to the mutual love of Lord Rama and Bharat ji. A huge well is also present at some distance from the Bharat Milap temple, which is known as Bharat Kup. The pilgrimage of Chitrakoot is considered incomplete without a visit to this holy worship place. It is said that Bharat ji wanted to anoint Lord Rama as a king, so he collected the water of all holy pilgrimages. Later, considering the advice of sage Atri, he put water in this well. Hence it is known as Bharat Kup.
