Employees of state organizations sent to the territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics (DPR and LPR) are supposed to double their salaries. The corresponding government decree document was published on Monday, June 20, on the official portal of legal information.
“Employees during their stay on business trips in the territories of the DPR, LPR and other territories retained average wages <…> are paid in rubles at a double rate,” the document says.
It is clarified that it is planned to increase wages for those employees of federal government agencies who occupy positions not related to the civil service and employees of organizations and institutions subordinate to the federal authorities.
In addition, employees who are involved in the restoration of Donbass infrastructure can also count on double salaries during business trips.
It is noted that the financial support of this resolution is carried out at the expense of the federal budget.
On June 16, Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Public Utilities Nikita Stasishin said that the main emphasis in the restoration of Donbass will be placed on social infrastructure, overhaul of housing, preparation for the winter period and ensuring a normal life for people. According to him, specific step-by-step recovery plans are being formed.
Two days earlier, it became known that the Governor of the YaNAO Dmitry Artyukhov and the head of the DPR regional administration Konstantin Zinchenko signed an agreement according to which Yamal will help restore the destroyed social, communal and transport infrastructure of the Volnovakhsky district of the DPR. In particular, Yamal will donate specialized equipment for public utilities, fuel trucks, fire trucks, as well as construction materials, medicines and 6,000 food kits, the first batch of essential assistance is on its way.
Russia continues the special operation to protect the Donbass, the beginning of which President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24. The key goals of the Russian military are the denazification and demilitarization of the Kyiv regime. This is necessary to ensure the security of the Russian state and people. Moscow also emphasized that strikes were carried out only on military infrastructure.
