Mandsaur. On Monday, when the Eid Miladunnabi procession was leaving from Nehru Bus Stand in Mandsaur, some antisocial element threw stones at the Sri Bade Balaji temple located here. Due to this, a person standing in the temple premises got injured. After this, a dispute started among the people.
As the ruckus increased, SP Ashutosh Anand, ASP Gautam Singh and the police force took over the front. The officials of the Hindu organization became angry after stones were thrown at the temple and one person got injured. They sat on the road outside the Hindu temples and started raising slogans. The Hindu organization demanded that the accused who threw stones should be arrested soon.
On the other hand, after the news of the dispute in the procession, shopkeepers in many markets of the city started closing their shutters and leaving. After a lot of effort, the police took the procession of the Muslim community to its destination. Meanwhile, a large number of workers of Hindu organizations also gathered. After a long debate between the police and Hindu activists, the workers of Hindu organizations sat on the road and recited Hanuman Chalisa. The administration was warned that if action is not taken against the accused, strict action will be taken.
However, BJP leaders Gaurav Aggarwal and Vinay Dubela said that Hindu organizations had already warned the administration to make special police arrangements in Hindu temples coming in the route of the Muslim procession. However, the administration took it lightly and the anti-social elements on the Muslim side threw stones as per the plan. This heated up the atmosphere between the two sides.
