Strict Inspection; 17,300 Expatriates Were Arrested In Saudi In One Week

Riyadh: Many people have been arrested in Saudi Arabia for violating labor laws in the country. The authorities have conducted a strict inspection in the last few days. Inspections have been intensified to find those who violate the safety rules.
The authorities have arrested around 17,300 people within a week. It has been decided to deport foreigners who have violated the law. The inspection was conducted by the Ministry of Home Affairs. 11,000 people who have violated the residence rule have been arrested during the inspection. 4,100 people have been arrested for violating border security regulations. 2,351 people have been arrested for violating labor laws. 703 people have been arrested while trying to cross the border into the country. Officials said that strict action will be taken against those who violate the laws of the country

Movie Director Mr. Zaheer Ali was honored by Nav Yugam Kalavedi.

Dammam: Malayalam film director, drama activist and member of the governing body of Kerala Sangeetnataka Academy and Vailoppilly Sanskriti Bhavan Shri Saheer Ali has been honored by Navayuga Kalavedi Central Committee. Riyas Muhammad, President of Nava Yug Kalavedi Central Committee, presided over the function which was held at Dammam Nava Yug Central Committee office hall. Central Kalavedi Secretary Binu Kunj welcomed.
Navayuga Central Committee Joint Secretary Dasan Raghavan gave the gift of Kalavedi to the director. Zaheer Ali thanked for the reception and spoke in his reply speech sharing his views on life in theater and cinema. Nava Yug Central Patron Shaji Mathilakam, Treasurer Sajan Kaniyapuram and Central Committee Member Sahirsha Kollam extended their greetings. Kalavedi co-in-charge Sangeeta Santhosh expressed thanks.

Zaheer Ali entered the film industry with two decades of experience in theater since his school days. Zaheer Ali, who has been the co-director of many films that have received attention in state, national and international film festivals, has directed the films “Capiri Thurut” in 2016 and “A Dramatic Death” in 2023. Currently working as a member of the governing body of Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy and Vailoppilly Sanskriti Bhavan as part of the Government of Kerala.

The reception ceremony was presided over by new age leaders Sajiachyuthan, Santhosh, Krishnanperampra, Biju Mundakayam, Manju Ashok, Latif Mainagapalli, Biju Varki, Gopakumar, Jabir, Varghese, Nandakumar and Santhosh Changoli.
