Approximately 500 km from the epicenter. Far away, India’s capital Delhi also experienced tremors. However, there was no building damage or loss of life. Tremors were felt in places like Delhi – National Capital Territory (Delhi – NCR) and Noida.
According to the people who witnessed the earthquake in the western part of Nepal, they saw buildings falling down in the earthquake-affected areas and people trapped under them and shouting loudly. Many are said to be trapped in several buildings that have been engulfed in flames.
Locals said 26 people were killed in Jajar Kot district in western Nepal, while 33 people were killed in Rukkum district. It can be said that the number of deaths there has increased from 55 to 59. However, the government has not issued an official announcement.
