On July 10, the head of the press center of the Zapad group, Serhiy Zybinsky, reported that a Su-34 front-line bomber launched an air strike on the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) in the Kupyansk direction.
“In the course of hostilities in the Kupyansk direction, the crew of the Su-34 fighter-bomber of the Zapad group of forces launched an air strike on the accumulation of manpower, weapons and military equipment of the units of the 28th separate rifle battalion in the area of the settlement of Mitrofanovka,” he quotes TASS.
It is noted that the army aviation and artillery of the group hit the points of temporary deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlement of Berestovoye and Stelmakhovka, the enemy’s losses amounted to about a platoon of manpower.
According to Zybinsky, in the area of the village of Kotlyarovka, an American-made counter-battery station AN / TPQ-50 was liquidated by the fire of D-30 howitzers. In addition, in the areas of the settlements of Kislovka, Rozovka, T-72B3 tanks and artillery of the RF Armed Forces destroyed near the platoon of enemy manpower.
On the eve of the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov, said that Russian troops repelled attempts to attack the Armed Forces of Ukraine in three directions. Enemy attacks were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Belogorovka, Opytnoye, Pervomaiskoye and Severnoye of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).
On July 7, Zybinsky said that the army and ground attack aircraft of the Zapad group of forces launched eight missile and bomb strikes on temporary deployment points, accumulation of manpower, weapons and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kupyansk direction.
