Subway just introduced Subway in the Skya new gastronomic experience aboard an airship that began to fly through the skies of the United States on September 1.
The announcement is part of the culmination of its latest launch Eat Fresh Refresh. The United States will be able to experience the heights that Subway has reached since it began its transformation journey in 2021.
The aerostat embodies The Beast, one of the new Deli Hero submarines introduced in July that features half a pound of meat. Below the almost 180 feet long, Subway transformed the gondola into a floating restaurant with capacity for up to six diners of sandwiches per trip.
Throughout September, Subway in the Sky will stop in cities across the United States, including Kansas City, Atlanta, Orlando and Miami.
Up to 40 Subway fans per day will enjoy a sandwich ‘flight’ of the four Deli Submarine heroes aboard the airship as they float 1,000 feet above the ground. To reserve a seat on Subway in the Sky and view detailed flight information, those interested can enter here.
In addition to the Subway in the Sky attractions, the restaurant chain offers fans the opportunity to Go to Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas with a Subway in the Sky online game by visiting SubwayInTheSky.com or scanning a QR code at your local Subway restaurant (for details go here).
People can take a daily spin on the airship-themed slot machine that enters them into a drawing for a chance to win a trip to the Super Bowl and unlocks the chance to get special discounts on Deli Hero subs, like $5.99 footlongs or 15% discount at checkout.
Subway in the Sky flight dates and times are subject to change due to weather or other atmospheric conditions.
