Because no industry can grow without the contribution of workers. Both the officers were addressing the formation of the new team of Industrial Association Krishnanagar and the pledge ceremony of the members at a hotel located on Neelam Bata Road.
Officials said that there can be no compromise on the safety and welfare of the workers. The department is ready to provide all possible help to the industry, but the responsibility assigned to them will have to be fulfilled. Those institutions which do not do so will be made to comply with the law. Industrial institutions should also think of it as a humane thing. The chief guest of the program, SE Naresh Kakkar of the Electricity Board assured uninterrupted power supply to the industry. Praising the industry, he said that today the line loss in the industry has come down to just two per cent. No industry is stealing electricity.
