Ambulances are transporting victims to area hospitals. Lists of dead and injured students were posted on the walls. A woman expressed concern that her sister could not be found in any hospital and she is 19 years old. She called her phone but got no response. On the other hand, the Taliban forces, who thought that there was a threat of another attack, forcibly sent the families of the victims from a hospital.
Terrifying videos and photos of the incident are being circulated in the local media. Internal Security Affairs Department spokesman Abdul Nafe Tucker strongly condemned the suicide attack. “The security forces have reached the incident site… the manner of the attack… the details of the dead will be released later,” he said. “Attack targeting civilians proves the inhuman cruelty and immoral standards of the enemy,” he said.
After the American army withdrew last August, the Taliban, who took power again, announced that the two decades of war had ended and that they would end the violence in Afghanistan. But, the situation is opposite to this. Afghanistan has been rocked by a series of bomb blasts in recent times.
