These super cows give 18 tons of milk per year. It is noteworthy that Dragon said that if a cow gives milk for 305 days in a year, it will give more than 150 liters of milk per day.
The Global Times revealed that the researchers cloned the tissues from holistic cows with superior characteristics, high milk yield, long-lived, and effectively coped with stress.. through somatic cell nuclear transfer method. China hopes to produce over a thousand ‘super cows’ in the next two to three years.
When these ‘super cows’ were born in the last week of January in Lingwu City, the first calf weighed 56.7 kg and was born with a height of 76 cm. It was taken out by caesarean section as the weight was too high. The researchers said that the calf was born exactly as they wanted.
