Surf Abu Dhabi, the leading surfing destination developed by Modon Properties, a subsidiary of Modon Holding, is hosting the Abu Dhabi Classic Longboard Championship from September 27 to 29.
This competition represents the third stage of the 2024 Longboard World Championship, at Surf Abu Dhabi, which is the largest artificial surfing facility in the world, on Al Hudayriat Island, and will open its doors to the public next October.
Viewers will have the opportunity to watch the skills of 48 of the world’s elite surfers, in both male and female categories, compete for crucial points in their journey to achieve the dream of winning the World Championship title.
Surf Abu Dhabi will join a number of global destinations that have hosted a round of the 2024 Longboard World Championship, such as Bells Beach in Australia, Huntington Beach in California, and will conclude in El Salvador with the crowning of the world champions next October.
