It is known that Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap and actor Abhay Deol have been in the headlines recently. In 2009, when Kashyap accused Abhay of his behavior on the sets of Dev D, Abhay Deol also responded. Anurag revealed in an interview in 2020 why he was upset about Sushant. Sushant admits that he was upset when he walked out of his project to do ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ with Yash Raj Films. He said that Sushant was approached by casting director Mukesh Chhabra in 2016 before the release of ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’. Anurag said that Sushant did not call back despite informing him that he was looking for an actor to play a man from Uttar Pradesh, so he had a ‘mukkabaaz’ with another actor.

In the current interview, Anurag mentioned his differences with Abhay and Sushant. He said that after suffering from health issues for a year and a half, he realized many things. At that time he revealed about the things that disturbed him along with his anger and reactions. ‘It took time to realize I was shouting at others. Social media has changed. I’m not here, I understand that no one listens to anyone,’ he said. Now he realizes that there is no need to open up about his experiences with an actor 13 years ago.

In the same sequence, talking about Sushant Singh Rajput.. ‘I was very sad the day Sushant died. Three weeks before that he wanted to talk to me. But he didn’t talk because he was angry that he had left my project in the past. But that guilt haunts me. I tried to contact Abhay that this should not happen and apologized to him. Because it was known through others that he was very hurt for talking about him in public.’
