The Paris public prosecutor told news agency AFP that the action was based on confidential information that those on board were suspected to be victims of human trafficking.
Prosecutors also said the national anti-organized crime unit Junalco had taken over the investigation.

The plane of Romanian company Legend Airlines landed at Vatry Airport, a small airport in France. The prefecture in the northeastern department of Marne said Vatry was stationed on the tarmac at the airport after landing.
Local media are also reporting that a judicial inquiry has been initiated in the matter.
The aircraft was landed at Vatri, a relatively small airport, for refuelling. After that, the police stopped the plane citing technical problems. According to the report, there were 303 Indian nationals on the flight.
Initially, the authorities suggested that the passengers stay on the plane, but later they allowed them to use the airport lounge. Currently, the lounge of the airport is now full of beds, according to reports.
