The report is based on a study of 1,192 people in China who initially reported Kovid infection.
The physical and mental health of those who have recovered will improve over time. However, the study indicates that Kovid 19 patients are still in poor health and quality of life two years later than the general population.
The study also explains that the impact of the disease on the internal organs and physical activity of Kovid survivors is long lasting.
This is especially true for people with chronic Kovid disease. Two years after the onset of the disease, fatigue, shortness of breath, and difficulty sleeping may be present. About 50 percent of people show at least one symptom, the researchers said.
