Tarakaratna’s parents Mohanakrishna, Sita, younger sister Rupa along with Nandamuri Balakrishna, Vasundhara, Nandamuri Ramakrishna, Garapati Lokeshwari, Daggubati Purandeshwari, Nara Bhuvaneshwari, Kalyan Ram, his wife Swati, mother Lakshmi and other family members attended the small ceremony and paid tribute to Tarakaratna’s portrait. Also, many film celebrities participated in this small ritual. Producers D. Suresh Babu, Damodara Prasad, Prasanna Kumar, actor Ajay, director producer YVS Chaudhary, producer Adiseshagiri Rao, Paruchuri Gopalakrishna, producer C. Kalyan, actor Banerjee and others were present and paid tributes by placing flowers at Tarakaratna’s photo.
Alekhya who was in tears
His wife Alekhya Reddy got emotional during the Tarakaratna Chinnakarma program. Unable to digest the fact that her husband is no more, Alekhya burst into tears touching him. Seeing the scene of elder daughter Nishika consoling her tearful mother will not make anyone’s eyes tear up. All her family members tried to console Alekhya who could not stop her grief. Alekhya also shed tears while offering flowers at her husband’s portrait.
Babai Balakrishna was also seen in this program. Along with elder brother Mohanakrishna, Balakrishna was seen talking to Tarakaratna’s daughter Nishika and family members while inviting the guests. Especially Nishika was showing something on her phone to Balayya’s grandfather.. Balakrishna was looking at it closely and asking for details. These scenes once again prove how close Tarakaratna’s children are to Balayya’s grandfather.
Love marriage with Alekhya Reddy
In 2012, Tarakaratna Prema married Alekhya Reddy, a close relative of MP Vijayasai Reddy. Tarakaratna’s father Mohanakrishna and mother Sita do not like this marriage. Hence, Tarakaratna and Alekhya got married in the presence of friends at the Sanghi Temple in the suburbs of Hyderabad. Not a single person from the Nandamuri family attended this wedding. Tarakaratna and Alekhya were first born with a baby girl. Her name is Nishika. A few years later, twins were born. Tarakaratna named the baby as Tanai Ram and the baby as Reya. It is sad that Tarakaratna left her family at the age of 39 when the children were still young and went to the worlds of no return.
