New Delhi. Tech Mahindra on Monday announced that it has collaborated with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to build a sports cloud platform.
The offering is focused on building next-generation digital capabilities for sports organizations and delivering immersive and personalized experiences to sports fans around the world.
“By building Sports Cloud on AWS, we aim to create a personalized, fan-centric community that goes beyond the physical game,” Jagdish Mitra, chief strategy officer and development head at Tech Mahindra, said in a statement.
He added, “The platform is set to disrupt the sports tech industry by providing opportunities for sports organizations and franchises around the world to create an engaging fan engagement experience that is based on content and community, driven by commerce.” “Leads.”
Both companies will collaborate to provide a comprehensive digital platform to sports organizations.

The platform will use specialized AWS services like AWS Elemental MediaLive and AWS Elemental MediaLive to deliver 24/7 linear channels and live events at scale; AWS Elemental Media Convert for transcoding content for broadcast and multi-screen delivery; Amazon Kinesis Data Stream, etc. to store and ingest various streaming data in real time at any scale.
Tech Mahindra will also leverage Amazon SageMaker – a fully managed ML service from AWS that empowers developers and data scientists for any use case – AR/VR video and image analytics and enables fans to experience virtual stadiums.
