Meerut. A 16-year-old girl was gang-raped in Meerut city of UP. 3 youths held the girl hostage in a room and committed the crime. The incident took place in a colony located in Lohianagar police station area of Meerut. Police reached the spot after getting information from the girl’s family.
The police has started investigating the incident and has started raids in search of the accused. The incident is said to have taken place at 8:30 pm on Saturday night. Three youths of the area forcibly held the teenager hostage in a room and gang-raped her. The accused fled leaving her in a distraught state in the room. During this, the condition of the teenager deteriorated.
Hearing the screams of the teenager, her family members reached the spot and informed the police about the matter. On receiving the information, CO Kotwali Ashutosh Singh also reached the spot of the gangrape. After taking information about the accused from the teenager, the police sent her to the district hospital. CO Kotwali Ashutosh Singh says that a complaint has been filed by the victim’s family. The accused are being searched.
Soon the accused will be arrested and action will be taken against them. Regarding the incident, the neighbors say that the teenager used to go to learn sewing every day. On Saturday morning, when her mother and elder brother went to work, they returned home in the evening and saw that the teenager was not at home. When they went out to look for her, the teenager was found in a closed house.
