The press service of the UMVD for the region said that they received a video of the incident. Law enforcers are investigating the circumstances of the incident.

The city administration told the agency that the eternal flame was lit shortly after the actions of the vandals. According to the heads of the head of the city department for information policy and public communications Olga Ryaskova, the identity of the teenagers has already been established. The incident will be considered at an extraordinary meeting of the commission on juvenile affairs.

The monument itself was not damaged, the teenagers did not inflict material damage on it. Vandals face up to 15 days of arrest or a fine of up to 1.5 thousand rubles. They will be registered with the police. The parents of the guilty will be brought to administrative responsibility.
