Hyderabad: Assembly elections are going to be held in Telangana state next year. In this case, the State Finance Minister Harishrao presented a budget of Rs.2,90,396 crore in the Hyderabad Legislative Assembly yesterday.
It includes announcements such as permanency of contract workers, allocation of Rs.1000 crore for the salary of 80 thousand newly appointed government employees this year, 95 percent preference for people from Telangana state, from shop floor employees to Kotaksi jobs. Also, by the end of March, the work of erecting a 125 feet tall statue of Ambedkar will be completed. For this, the Telangana government has allocated Rs. 147 crore has been spent.
