It seems that the budget is likely to be Rs.3 lakh crore. Harish Rao will visit the Jubilee Hills TTD temple this morning and perform special pujas during the introduction of the budget. After that, he will reach the assembly and deliver the budget speech. With assembly elections coming up in a few months, everyone is excited about the budget. Budget is presented in March every year. But as this time it is being introduced in February itself, there are also speculations that there is an early election strategy behind it.
There is a campaign going on that the assembly will be dissolved after the budget meetings and early elections will be held. In order to attract votes for the upcoming elections, it has become interesting how the allocation of funds for the welfare and development programs of KCR Sarkar will be. The Dalit Bandhu scheme, which CM KCR is ambitiously promoting across the country, is yet to be fully implemented. It has been decided to provide financial assistance of Rs.10 lakh to every Dalit family through this scheme.
Also, KCR had promised in August last year that the tribal kinship scheme would be implemented. But so far its procedures have not been finalised. Will there be allocations for tribals in today’s budget? Or? It has become a topic of discussion. In the last election manifesto, TRS has promised to give Rs.3016 per month to all the unemployed under the age of 30 under unemployment benefit. Minister KTR has announced many times in the past that the scheme will be implemented. The government also identified the unemployed. But no progress has been made so far.
Many are hoping that the unemployment benefit scheme will be announced in the budget to be presented today. TRS has included in the election manifesto that they will provide Rs 3 lakh assistance for the construction of houses for those who have their own land. Even this scheme has not been implemented so far. It is said that there is an opportunity to implement this scheme in the election year.
