While speaking, the Governor indirectly blamed the Telangana Chief Minister. “It is not enough to build new buildings, we must also build free houses and houses for the poor and simple people to live in,” he said. Governor Tamilisai said this indirectly pointing to the Chief Secretariat built at a cost of Rs.650 crore.
The governor also accused the Chief Minister of going to the farm house to relax. “It is not enough to rest at the farm house, the government should take steps to ensure that the farmers do not incur losses in their farms,” he said.
“Even if the government doesn’t like me, the people of Telangana like me very much,” Governor Tamilisai said in Telugu.
Sources close to Chief Minister Chandrasekhar said, “The Governor has criticized the Chief Minister badly. We will report this to the President.”
Telangana BJP state president Pandi Sanjay said, “Chief Minister Chandrasekhara Rao is behaving in such a way that he does not give the slightest respect to the governor without even looking at a woman. What is he going to do for the country by starting a national party?”
